MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Membership Development Committee will work to continually develop and enhance the membership value; develop a consistent process whereby member applications are processed and new members are fully engaged and integrated within SCCCC; implement a Board-to-member mentoring process whereby each Board Director is assigned members to contact, to answer questions and to develop relationships; providing rapid and adequate follow-up with those who have expressed interest in SCCCC; help develop and execute member referral program; and facilitate a continually growing membership.

We want you to be excited about your chamber experience for many reasons. One is to keep you talking about your dedication the chamber and bringing in new members. We don’t just want to recruit you; we want to keep you, and we want you to tell everyone you know about your SC mission work and about all the people you are serving. Word of mouth builds and retains membership better than any other medium.

This committee also is charged with is a state wide church relations council. We need grass roots support from church members in the identified communities in order to successfully fulfill our obligation in the mission fields.


FAITH DEVELOPMENT

One of our goals is to help you enrich your spiritual life in the workplace. Meeting other faith-minded business people and exposing you to other Christian leader’s who have been successful will encourage you to practice Christian business principles.

God assures us that when we help others we will prosper. Your involvement in the chamber will allow you to help others across the state. Sharing your time, talents and expertise with struggling businesses, or those out of work will allow you to grow personally, spiritually and professionally.

MISSIONS COORDINATION

The works of our mission committee are dictated by the needs of South Carolinians.
Christ Central Ministries helps guide our efforts, and initially will serve as the source of our mission fields.

Christ Central currently has over 22 mission stations throughout SC, and helps thousands of lives daily utilizing over 13,000 volunteers annually.

The following needs have been identified and are being addressed by them currently in over eleven communities’ state wide:

As an organization we will continue to identify and coordinate efforts with our members to address new and similar issues in new communities. Who, where, when and how will be questions posed by this committee to forge ahead in our mission to help the needy in SC.
